What are they thinking? Over the past several months Bausch's ReNu with MoistureLoc contact lens solution has been determined by the CDC to have caused hundreds of potentially catastrophic fungal eye infections. Bausch stopped selling the product world wide but has taken virtually no steps to insure that consumers throw away unused solution. New clients are calling my office every day suffering from or having just suffered Fusarium Keratitis infections. They uniformly report that they had no idea the solution was dangerous.

Now it is reported that the defective solution is still being sold in the Ukraine. When will Bausch start spending some money to insure that their customers know ReNu with MoistureLoc is potentially sight threatening?

Bausch needs to immediately insure that this dangerous product is not being sold anywhere and lauch a massive informational campaign aimed at educating its customers.

Surely Bausch has not made a financial decision that it will cost less to pay off infected users than it would if its ReNu brand suffered more adverse publicity?
